Great intro to step using hand weights. Paul's step videos have encouraged me to use my step again. Thanks Paul!

This was good for me. It had to have been before April when I did a very fun dance step aerobics video of Paul's, but in April I injured my knee (falling off a horse while trying to get on him, and he walked away). After my knee getting torn up, I could hardly do anything at all, much less step aerobics. After a few months, when I could begin to step up and down, my PT said don't try stepping more than about a minute at a time. Then, when I could progress more, she still told me, make sure it's all forward-facing movements. Now I can do step aerobics, and this was safe for me because it's so carefully done in this video, with nothing where I'd be twisting my knee. I did wrap a yoga mat around the step for padding and put a rubber exercise mat on the floor to lessen impact. I'm so glad I can do this now, and I can tone up my body with the light weights at the same time. By the way, I'm 63 years old. Thank you for this video, Paul, that I can follow and that's right for me at this stage in my healing from my injury. Plus, your attitude makes it fun.

Love your video's. I to am 61. The issue is I was a little skeptical about the step . I actually did the routine until I can get comfortable with my step. Thank you.
