I need to get on an aerobics program to keep in shape, but I don’t know what is good exercise and what isn’t. What could I do in half an hour to get in shape?

The trick is interval training. At 13 years old, your bones are too young and you shouldn’t necessarily lift weights. Therefore, better options would be intervals of sprints, jump roping, jumping jacks, mountain climbers, biking, etc. Running is also very beneficial. On youtube you can often find workout videos that include short intervals of different workouts that keep the body guessing and your heart rate fluctuating for maximum benefits.
